Greenhouse Village Cooperative (GVC) is a housing association that was first incorporated in 2005. GVC is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the member-owners and administered by operating committees and a management company, Premier Senior Resources. Members purchase a share of the Cooperative and pay monthly carrying charges to meet operating expenses, which include cost of operations, reserves for future major repair and replacement, and monthly payments on the property. A major benefit of cooperative living is the camaraderie among cooperative members. Activities include impromptu dinners, day trips, games, entertainment, and social events.
Living at Greenhouse Village Cooperative has many amenities of living in any Small Town USA. If you are civic minded, there are opportunities to serve on the Board of Directors or on a variety of policy and planning committees.
Maybe your skills and interests run along the lines of gardening in the out-of-doors or perhaps your expertise is in decorating the halls and common spaces. For variety there are numerous card games, music activities, book club, movie night, pool table, ping pong and areas to walk about. There is a special fitness room, a well-equipped shop and library.
Security is a top priority, with motion sensors and cameras installed on the property. For your convenience, we have four elevators and a heated garage. No more mowing the grass, shoveling snow or pulling those heavy trash barrels to the curb again.
